On December 14, 2012 a terrible event happened at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Connecticut.  As a part of the healing process for the children and Educators, therapy dogs were utilized and continue to be utilized even today.  “TESS” and her owner handler Inge has been a part of the Team that went to Sandy Hook to help.  The following slide show presentation are pictures taken from the special therapy dog recognition day, June 22,2013,  that the town of Sandy Hook held for all the dogs that gave so much but asked for so little.

“Tess” and Inge also visit Yale New Haven Hospital and Griffin Hospital on a weekly basis visiting both cancer patients and children.  She is affiliated with the Yale New Haven Therapy dog team as.  As you can see by her photos, she really loves her job and everyone loves her too!
